■ 個体解説 / Description
本個体は、斑紋形成メカニズムの研究過程で人工的に得られた個体であり、斑紋形成の途中段階の顕著な特徴を有する、資料的価値の極めて高い逸品です。
翅表後翅の外縁部分の黄色斑紋が発達しています。また、裏面後翅も外縁部の黄色斑紋列が拡大した非常に面白い個体であり、斑紋形成のダイナミズムを感じさせる一頭です。
[English Description] This specimen was produced through artificial induction during research on wing pattern formation mechanisms. It is an exceptional item of extremely high academic and scientific value, exhibiting the distinct characteristics typical of early-stage pattern formation.
On the dorsal side, the yellow submarginal spots of the hindwings are remarkably well-developed. The ventral side also features an expanded row of yellow spots along the outer margin, making this a fascinating individual that highlights the unique variations in pattern formation.
