I think this CD was made in 1990 as a commemorative item for the 30th anniversary of Hori Productions, which has been in business since 1960. I got it on ! Auctions about 15 years ago. Originally, it came in a 30cm x 30cm x 2cm box with a splendid greeting from the company's founder, President Takeo Hori. It contains 62 songs, from Moriya Hiroshi's "Boku wa Nakiichicchi" (1959 release) to Oda Tatsuya's "Seishun no Kawa" (1989 release), across genres and record companies. It's a 3-disc set that shows Horipro's generosity, with many GS and 70s idol singers from the 60s.
(For me) the 70s is particularly noteworthy, when Hamasho, who established his own agency in the 80s, was a member of the label before that. Not only does it contain Hiroko Ikeda's "Seifuku wo Nudara" and Keiko Nose's "Attention Please," which could only be heard on this CD at the time, but it also contains Ai Do's (now AIDO) second single "Koi no Seibu Shinjuku Sen," which was finally released on CD in 2015, 40 years after the record was released in 1975. Hamasho used his talent as a melody maker (=as a job?) to provide many songs during his time at Horipro, including 7 songs for Akiko Wada, 7 songs for Momoe Yamaguchi, 2 songs for Ikue Sakakibara, 5 songs for Keiko Nose mentioned above, and 2 songs for Hiroko Ikeda mentioned above. It is also believed that Osawa Itsumi, featured in Vol.3, released her 3rd single with "Dancing Lady," and composed the B-side song "Kouya wo Kakete" for Hiroyuki Sanada's "Seishun no Arashi" featured in Vol.2, because they were both affiliated with the same production company. Hamasho's works from his 20s, when he rarely provided songs to others these days, were sung by many singers from Horipro (who he was affiliated with at the time).
There may also be some rare songs that have not been released on CD (in a field I am not familiar with...). If you are interested, please check the images 8/9/10.
I am listing these items to clear out my inventory, but unfortunately I will not sell them separately. Please purchase the set of 3. It has been carefully stored, and although the surface is beautiful, the back side has faded a little due to the long storage period, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive about this. No claims or returns will be accepted. We will strive to ship promptly.
