“There are ``America edition'', ``Asia edition'' and ``Latin America edition''. few. Perhaps it's because there are many songs like ⑨, which are longing for foreign countries and consciously aiming to be exotic, rather than the natural exoticness of "Asia" and "Latin America". There are also songs that use the sitar. Although the recording dates vary from 1966 to 1977, many melancholic songs are selected, making it easy to listen to for garage fans who like highly melancholic sounds.

  "Asia Edition" covers from Japan to Turkey. The cheapness of Cambodian rocks, the irrepressible passion of Korean Sanulim, these sounds are strangely nostalgic and exotic to Japanese people, and have a strange comfort that feels like a brain massage. It seems to be addictive. It's strange that when you listen to Japanese bands such as Mops ⑦ and ④ ⑧, which have not been reissued in Japan due to the lyrics, your impression changes a little when you listen to them on the soil of Asia. Christo was one of the most famous bands in Singapore, but their ⑬, which is said to have been influenced by the Shadows, is a sophisticated psych instrumental. Jun Hyun and the Men's ⑭ is a dramatic masterpiece that makes you feel like you're watching a one-act drama even if you don't understand the lyrics. Strings are reminiscent of GS Tigers.

  In "Latin America Edition", since this CD was edited in Europe, we have selected many songs that feel the influence of Europe rather than the general image of South America. Almendra's debut single ① is lovely and dramatic psych pop. Los Gatos is a band that I personally love so much that I collect original records and even have the autographs of the members, but for some reason the chorus of ⑥ is similar to "Yosaku". Los Vidurios Quebrados' ⑫, a Christian college band, is a high-brow masterpiece that also sounds like Spanish prog rock. ⑰ was supposed to be listening to "Purple Haze", but before I knew it, it was a strange work that got lost in a comical B-class horror movie.

  All the albums are filled with an extraordinary feeling that makes you feel like you're floating in the air, but overall, they're nothing out of the ordinary. 』

There are 10 volumes in this compilation series, and VOL.4 seems to have a "Japanese edition" as well. Others include "Africa", "Turkey" and "Chile". In addition, the Japanese title "Sheryl..." on the jacket seems to be a go-go girl model in the 60's.
