こちらは、清朝末期（光緒〜宣統年間）に内務部の下部機関である 礼俗司（禮俗司） が授与した 銀質褒章 でございます。
礼俗司は典礼・祭祀・宮中行事を管轄しており、その関係者や功労者に対してこの褒章が授与されました。西洋式の勲章制度が本格的に導入される前段階にあたり、伝統的な中国的意匠と近代化の影響を併せ持つ、過渡期を象徴する褒章といえます。

Description
This is an authentic silver medal of merit awarded by the Bureau of Rites & Customs (禮俗司) under the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the late Qing Dynasty (Guangxu to Xuantong reigns, ca. 19001915).
The Bureau of Rites & Customs was responsible for ceremonies, rituals, and court events. This medal was conferred upon individuals who rendered distinguished service in these areas. It represents a transitional decoration, combining traditional Chinese artistic design with the influence of Western-style medal systems that were beginning to be introduced at the time.

Obverse: decorated with cloisonn enamel, inscribed with the character “褒章” (Medal of Merit) in the center.

Reverse: officially marked with the inscription “務部禮俗司印” (Seal of the Bureau of Rites & Customs, Ministry of Internal Affairs).
