The perfume is part of a limited collection of Guerlain’s iconic fragrance Shalimar, available exclusively from October 1, 2024 . "millesim jasmine" means "vintage jasmine" and was created as a homage to the jasmine grown in India, where Shalimar began . Perfumed by Guerlain perfumer Delphine Jerk, it focuses on jasmine from among the six ingredients that make up Guerlain's secret recipe, Gerlinade: bergamot, rose, jasmine, tonkabine, iris, and vanilla .
The aroma begins with a gorgeous jasmine without any prelude, joined by the freshness of bergamot [. After that, the smoky frankincense, leather and opoponax typical of shalimar mysteriously spread, and you can enjoy the rich aroma of two types of jasmine (jasmine grandiflorum and jasmine sambac) from three localities: Grasse, India and Italy .
