デトロイトの重鎮、ディープ・ハウスとテクノの境界線を行き来する独自のスタイルでシーンを引き込んできたRick Wade。2017年にシリーズから発表した「Timeless EP」の新しいリミックスがこちら。前回のEPに収録されていた「The Way I Am」は、Detroit Grand PubahsのOliver Way、Esteban Adame、Ben Long（Space DJz）から成るプロジェクトであるTresiloが手がけ、ファットなエレクトロニクスを駆使してゴールデンタイムのストーマーに。オリジナルEPでも人気が高かった「Planet Deep」は、UR一派であるVintage Futureが得意とする鍵盤ワークで漆黒のバージョンへとアップデート。さらに、未発表曲「Academy」にはシアトルのハウスヒーローであり、FreerangeやGet Physical Musicで活躍するPezznerのリミックスも収録。推奨盤とさせていただきます！
Renowned figure in Detroit, Rick Wade, known for his unique style seamlessly bridging the realms of deep house and techno, has captivated the scene. Presenting the fresh remixes of his 2017 "Timeless EP" from the series. The track "The Way I Am," featured in the previous EP, has been skillfully reimagined by Tresilo, a project consisting of Detroit Grand Pubahs' Oliver Way, Esteban Adame, and Ben Long (Space DJz). They infuse it with fat electronics, crafting a stormer fit for prime time. Another standout from the original EP, "Planet Deep," has received a noir update with the keyboard expertise of Vintage Future, a member of the UR collective. Additionally, the remix of the unreleased track "Academy" comes courtesy of Pezzner, the house hero from Seattle, renowned for his work on labels like Freerange and Get Physical Music. We highly recommend this one!
